Downtown Vibes

was lucky enough to photograph Isabelle on the very last sunny and warm day of the season ( Sept 28th, 2019) . We met behind Terza restaurant to go over wardrobe choices before heading over to historic 3rd for her session. Honestly, things went so well on 3rd street, that based on the images we had, we could have just gone home! But we were anxious to try other locations and outfits, so we were off to the top of a nearby parking garage where we snagged some great full sun pictures with the Plummer Building as a backdrop.

And because I have always wanted to take pictures by the newly built Hilton hotel, Isabelle obliged and headed over to the smoky glass windows and took some images in her beautiful navy and yellow/white patterned romper.

Isabelle was an absolute natural at posing and we had a great deal of fun finding the sun. Her mom, Amy, went across the street with my reflector and found a great pocket of sun to bounce over to Isabelle. Finding that light made some of the greatest pictures!  Next, Isabelle wore her hockey jersey by the Zumbro River and we wrapped up her session at Silver Lake where the sun was just stunning as it shimmered on the leaves, turning some of them a brilliant shade of lime.

Her yellow linen romper was really was striking with her dark hair and eyes. Her final outfit of featured a rust colored sweater with black skinny jeans one of the stone bridge.

Isabelle is a senior at Lourdes and is heading to college in the fall to major in Pre-Physician's Assistant at the College of St. Benedict. I have no doubt in my mind that she will be successful!
