Joey's Senior Session

Joey, a senior at Century High School, recently had his senior photo session in which we set out to authentically capture Joey at this important time in his life. Since Joey loves to golf and loves being outdoors, we decided to incorporate those two ideas into his senior session. Let's dive into the four awesome locations that helped to make Joey's session so special!

Under the Pines

We kicked things off under the towering pines of Quarry Hill Park (not to be confused with Quarry Hill Nature Center). These gorgeous pines created a beautiful canopy overhead. Joey rocked a sharp blue suit that looked amazing against the lush greenery and brown tree trunks. The tall pines were an ideal backdrop for Joey’s photos, capturing moments that showed off his style and sophistication. It was a perfect setting to symbolize Joey’s growth as he transitions from high school student to university scholar.

Quarry Hill Nature Center: Family Ties

Next we headed to Quarry Hill Nature Center, a place that means a lot to Joey and his family. There's a special tree there, planted in memory of Joey's grandmother, making it the perfect spot for capturing some memorable photos. If you look closely, you can see the memorial plaque planted beside the beautiful tree that is dedicated to his grandma, Diana.

Vibe Check? Perfection!

After Quarry Hill, we headed over to a crusty old building which happened to be bathed in the warmth of the low setting sun. It was the perfect place for Joey to sport his aviator shades and show off his casual, pulled-together look!

Sunset and Silhouettes

Our final destination was a nearby meadow. Here, Joey's passion for golf came to life as he brought along his trusty golf clubs. We arrived just in time to have the setting sun be incorporated into Joey's images. The golden, orange light looked gorgeous as a backdrop to Joey's silhouette. The combination of sun and silhouette seemed to pause time itself. As Joey swung his club, with the click of the camera, we captured some great moments to show his love of the sport.

A Bright Future Ahead at the University of Minnesota

With high school wrapping up, Joey is super excited about what's next. Driven by his passion for problem-solving and innovation, he’s heading to the University of Minnesota in the fall to study Aerospace Engineering. Best wishes to Joey as he steps into this exciting new phase of life; I am sure he'll make a big impact in the world!

Cheers to the memories, the moments, and all the milestones to come!
