Lake City, Minnesota
Alex attends Lincoln High School in Lake City, Minnesota. Upon graduation, he hopes to become a financial analyst. Though he was on my schedule for earlier in the year, we moved his session to give his face a chance to heal from a nasty spill he took on his bike. Thankfully, he healed very nicely, and you can't even see that he was in an accident. We had perfect weather for his senior shoot which started in Patton Park. We took a few shots on a special bench, at the fountain and on the steps. The bench was significant to him because his dad sat on that same bench for his senior photos. After we wrapped up at Patton Park, Alex, his grandma and I set off for the most beautiful park, Hok-Si-La. The trees were tall and the moss was a beautiful mix of lime and emerald green. There was a spectacular view of Lake Pepin with small black-eyed Susan's dotting the banks. We got some really great images there and rounded off his session at the Lake City Marina just as the sun was beginning to glow orange in the sky. At the end, Alex took a few very sweet pictures with his grandma! Such a great day and such a fantastic shoot.
