Elaina, a senior at Century High School, who is hoping to go to college for packaging science and study abroad , wanted nothing typical about her senior session. When we were in the planning stages, she told me that she did not want anything ordinary since she loves adventure. She definitely got the EXTRA ordinary for her September session! After pictures with Axel, we snagged some fun images with new downtown Hilton in the background. It was then and there that the police showed up. Turns out it was a misunderstanding and our city's finest were relieved nobody needed their assistance. They were off to their next call before we could ask for a picture of them with Elaina. Now THAT would have been a fun shot to have as a memento! In the one of the images below, you can see in Elaina's expression the moment the police siren surprised her! Later, we took pictures of Elaina with her Chucks raining down around her. Check out what it took in the behind the scenes "pullback". That is one amazing mom and friend who showed up to help us make it "rain" chucks! Soon after, we headed to the gym for some action shots of Elaina playing volleyball. These, according to Elaina, were some of the most fun to take.
Fire and Ice
We finished with a session in my studio where the special lighting set up made it look like the dress she wore was on fire! (Or on ice-depending on the setup). Which do you like? Fire or Ice? DM me on Instagram to let me know! https://www.instagram.com/kathleenmurphyphotos/
